Renowned jazz website jazzgroupiez.com proudly announce to the public the release of their debut EP tagged millinaissance.
The EP which is a brief journey through bebop, smooth jazz, and modern jazz; with the lead single NOCHINY, which is an Ode to New Orleans, Chicago and New York where jazz was born and raised.
The millinaissance EP was released for public consumption on the 29th December 2017 on CD Baby and January 3, 2018 on iTunes and all digital formats. Millinaissance which was intended to be a mixtape with other jazz music acts but early in the process the concept was changed to release instrumentals influenced by the last 60 year of jazz emerged as the concept.
The album has been enjoying loads of airplay and downloads, as people come across the songs and fall in love at first hearing.
Jazzgroupiez has expressed appreciation towards the acceptance of their first major work since the jazz community website launched in 2013.
The website commences operation which was basically promoting and assisting upcoming jazz acts and venues to achieve success and thrive after being inspired by traveling around the country enjoying jazz acts such as Robert Glasper, Milton Suggs, Gregory Porter and few others.
“My goal is to share the rich history and culture of the past, present, and future of jazz” stated by Todd Moultrie jazzgroupiez.com founder who spent time in the early 2000’s producing for acts such as Master P, Currency, and Matthew Knowles Sanctuary Urban imprint.
The album has been made available for purchase on different platforms including iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, Tidal, and Spotify are platforms where it could be purchased and streamed. Look for the CD release mid-January 2018 and vinyl mid to late February 2018
