Free Ride Reimbursement Initiative Aims to Reduce Impaired Driving in Vermont and New Hampshire
BURLINGTON, VT, June 10, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — In an effort to promote safer roads during Independence Day celebrations, Sabbeth Law is offering free ride reimbursement through its Sober Holiday Rides program on July 4, 2026.
The initiative encourages individuals celebrating the holiday to choose a taxi or rideshare instead of driving after drinking. Eligible participants can receive reimbursement of up to $50 (including a 10% tip) for a one-way ride home.
Independence Day is historically one of the most dangerous holidays for impaired driving nationwide. As a law firm serving Vermont and New Hampshire, Sabbeth Law has seen firsthand the consequences of preventable drunk driving crashes.
“We want people to celebrate responsibly and get home safely,” said Michael J. Sabbeth, Esquire. “If covering the cost of a ride removes one barrier to making a safe decision, it’s worth it.”
