$1,000 Scholarship Invites Students to Share How They Have Stood Up for Others and Where That Drive Is Taking Them
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, April 23, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Ganderton Law Personal Injury Law Firm is proud to announce the launch of its 2027 Ganderton Law Justice & Advocacy Scholarship. The program offers $1,000 in financial support to one deserving student to help cover the cost of tuition, books, and other academic expenses.
The scholarship is open to students currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college or university who are pursuing a degree in law, pre-law, criminal justice, social work, public policy, or a related field. Applicants must be a resident of Colorado or enrolled at an accredited Colorado institution. No minimum GPA is required.
To apply, students are asked to submit an essay of 1,000 to 1,500 words responding to the following prompt: Describe a time you stood up for someone who couldn’t stand up for themselves, or a cause you believe deserves more advocacy, and explain how that experience has shaped who you are and where you’re headed.
“At Ganderton Law, our drive to fight for people who have been hurt or wronged is what this firm was built on,” said founder and managing partner David Ganderton. “This scholarship is our way of investing in current students who exhibit that same commitment to justice and advocacy, and who are working toward a future where they can put it to use for others.”
Essays will be evaluated on authenticity, responsiveness to the prompt, and overall clarity and composition. In addition to the essay, applicants must submit proof of enrollment or acceptance at an accredited college or university and a current resume highlighting academic achievements, work experience, and community or extracurricular involvement.
