meShare Celebrates New Office Space with Open House and Ribbon-Cutting

CHAMPAIGN, IL, November 10, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — After 9 months of construction, meShare, an IoT platform provider, celebrates its newly renovated office space at its headquarters in Champaign, IL, with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce. The new space offers four new meeting rooms, two large open office areas, and increased bandwidth for its 2400 sq. ft data center. Since March 2020, meShare has experienced rapid growth, and the new space offers the room to accommodate its current team and future employees while creating an environment for collaboration and innovation.

“It’s been quite a year for us at meShare. We’ve grown significantly, and we wanted to make sure that our new space not only accommodated our growing team but also offered a comfortable and collaborative environment,” says Charlie Wan, COO of meShare. He continued to say, “We are proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish at meShare and are confident that the new space and team will help us accelerate our position in the marketplace even further.” Within the last year, meShare has more than doubled the size of its product team. It has plans to hire more talent, specifically data scientists and cybersecurity specialists.

As part of the celebration, meShare opened its doors for guests to view the new space and tour its state-of-the-art data center. Built from the ground up by the meShare team, the data center powers more than 20 billion minutes of live video recording and streaming per month from more than 7 million connected devices. After touring the data center, Lindsay Quick, Marketing Director at the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce, said, “This was surely impressive to see. And who knew this was here. Very cool.”

Present at the open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony were members of the business community, including several team members from the Champaign County Chamber of Commerce.
