Inaugural Scholarship for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses
ROSWELL, GA, May 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts, a leading provider of continuing medical education, announces four winners of their new scholarship that will support adult learners enrolled in Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), and Registered Nurse (RN) programs at accredited universities in the United States.
Four scholarships of $500 each will be awarded to:
• David Carrasco, RN, Nova Southern University, whose motivation to pursue higher education comes from personal responsibility and hands-on experiences that shaped how he understands patient care. He aims to be a healthcare provider who can connect different aspects of medicine and continue learning over time.
• Destiny Crawford, MA, Northland College, who witnessed directly how poverty serves as a barrier to accessing quality care. She wants to turn the systemic breakdowns she endured into a framework for comprehensive patient recovery.
• Evan Elie, RN, Cambridge College, a Haitian immigrant, is the first male is his immediate family to graduate from college. As an RN, he wants to serve as a role model and mentor and deliver care to underserved populations, both locally and abroad, ensuring that people without access to healthcare still receive dignity, compassion and support.
• Priscilla Joy, MD, University of California-Davis did not receive a formal education until right before high school yet graduated as a valedictorian. She experienced an injury and received care and support from a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, which influenced her medical journey.
