Premiering Opening Night of DOC NYC Film Festival on November 10th

BLOWBACK’s electrifying Critic’s Choice nominated documentary about the Hall of Fame NBA Player for Showtime – KEVIN GARNETT: ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE – Directed by Daniel Levin and Eric Newman is premiering on opening night of Doc NY – Wednesday November 10th at 7pm.

The film chronicles Garnett’s historic journey from teenage basketball phenom to game-changing NBA Hall of Fame superstar. Learn about the lasting effects his disruptive and bold actions have had on the NBA and the cultural conversations inspired by his life.

BLOWBACK has two other projects premiering during DOC NYC

THE SLOW HUSTLE a searing inside look at one of the most corrupt police departments in the country, in Baltimore, MD, through the story of a respected, veteran police officer’s mysterious death and the efforts of local journalists, family members and activists to find answers.

This is the 3rd collaboration between BLOWBACK Productions and Sohn’s La Medicina Productions. In 2017 they collaborated on “Baltimore Rising” directed by Sohn executive produced by Levin and Levin co-wrote and directed Sohn in Sundance Grand Jury Prize winner “Slam” in 1998.

The Slow Hustle will premiere on HBO TBD and be featured at DOC NYC on Monday, November 15th.

ADRIENNE: The death of acclaimed actress-filmmaker-screenwriter Adrienne Shelly sends her husband on a search for answers.

Shelly co-starred, wrote, and directed the beloved 2007 movie “Waitress”. In twist Shelly fell victim to an unfathomable tragedy that cut her life short.
