Defense Attorney Joins Cousin and Founding Partner Rob Schmittgens to Expand the Firm’s Personal Injury Practice

A St. Louis native and experienced trial lawyer, Danny joins founding partner Rob Schmittgens (his second cousin) as the firm continues to grow its representation of injury victims throughout Missouri and Illinois.
Danny brings a background that is somewhat unusual for a plaintiff’s firm. After graduating from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2020 and earning his license in 2021, he spent more than five years defending doctors and medical facilities against malpractice claims. That experience gives the firm an inside view of how insurance companies and defense teams build their cases; now it’s insight Danny will apply for the people on the plaintiff side.
