Bruce Engler Releases Long Awaited Album ‘The Silver Lining’ After Four Year Interruption

Guitar-based singer songwriter releases new music April 24th with an appeal spanning generations.

DOVER, NH, April 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — The follow up to his One More Chance album, which featured DownTown Mystic as well as Max Weinberg & Garry Tallent of The E Street Band. This album is Bruce on his own, showcasing his signature slide guitar work, on both electric and acoustic guitars, with more lush vocal harmonies we’ve come to expect from him. Ten songs, three of which tell the story of an interstate move several years ago that interrupted the completion of the album. Bruce explains, “Unfinished songs rolling around in my head while juggling boxes turned out to be a good thing. The songs only improved with time. Lyrics couldn’t help being shaped by the typical uncertainties of the move and hopes for a good outcome, including the happy ending.”

Track one, This Dream, is described by Muse Chronicle as, “It’s retro in the best way, nodding to rock-pop’s golden era while staying firmly planted in the present.” These are songs written by a singer songwriter influenced by legendary artists like Eric Clapton, Crowded House and Pete Townshend, offering his fifth solo album to explore. It’s a sound that will resonate with fans across generations.

The Silver Lining will be published by Twincliff Music and available on all streaming platforms April 24th.
