Feature by Scott Edward McDowell

In December 2013, John Terizan and Brian Toll made their first expansion of their Bootsy Bellows brand. Opening Bootsy Bellows Aspen. The highly anticipated Aspen location offers a lounge version of its sister location in Los Angeles.

I recently had the chance to connect with Andrew Sandler and David Arquette. Check out the conversations below. I look forward to doing a full recap of the X games after parties with DJ Ruckus and T-Pain! Check out the conversation below I had with Andrew and be sure to look out for my daily X-Games coverage starting on Jan 26th.

Q: What is Bootsy Bellows?
David: Bootsy Bellows is fun. it started as a nightclub and now includes parties at the worlds most exclusive events, like footballs big game, Coachella, Cannes, Allstar games, and the 4th of July at Nobu in Malibu.

Q: How did you start collaborating with the H-Wood group to bring the concept to life?
David: I met John and Brian when we first started Bootsy Bellows more than 5 years ago. We all came together with a vision to start a nightclub that brought back the fun and glamor the sunset blvd of the past.

Q: When did you know it was time to expand into other markets?
David: Expanding Bootsy’s is just part of is the natural progression. Any city we go to there is no nightclubs like ours. Now in Aspen, soon to be Dallas and several other locations we haven’t announced yet.

Q: How did you connect with John Terzian and Brian Toll from the H-Wood Group to launch the successful Hollywood concept in Aspen?
Andrew: A mutual acquaintance called me in between a few business meetings with one of my other companies and urged me to meet with John Terzian at Soho House in West Hollywood and convince him that bringing Bootsy Bellows to Aspen was in the best interest of everyone, it turned out to be correct!

Q: What can guests expect when coming out for a night at Bootsy Bellows?

Andrew: You can expect to step into the club world you would expect to experience in NYC, Vegas, LA or Miami.

Q: I noticed you always have some of the top DJs, artists, and celebrities involved with events at Bootsy Bellows Aspen. What are some of the big shows you have coming up in 2018?

Andrew: We like to keep our planning under wraps until everything is confirmed. We’re very excited to have DJ Ruckus returning for his 5th visit and we’re happy to have T-Pain come host Sat night of X-Games this year.

Q: What separates Bootsy Bellows from the other nightlife options in Aspen?
Andrew: We’re first in years to bring a taste of the big city to town.
